Three Ontario Wines this week...available at the winery or through www.winerytohome.com

Henry of Pelham Dry Riesling 2005
$11.95
Straw-coloured with a nose of sweet grapefruit with a peachy note. Light on body but concentrated with flavour – lime and white peach. Great length. Great value. ****
Food match: prawn cocktail; whitebait

Flat Rock Cellars "The Rusty Shed" Chardonnay 2004
$24.95
This is really Burgundian in character. Medium straw colour with a barnyard nose mixed with apple and vanilla oak. Toasty, orange, tangerine and caramel flavours with a lively acidic spine. Full-bodied, stylish with great length. ****½
Food match: grilled salmon; camembert

Château des charmes Gamay Noir Droit 2004
$15.95
You'll find this better than most Beaujolais and the price is right. Medium ruby colour; a peppery, minerally nose with lots of black cherry fruit. Medium-bodied, lively cherry and peppery flavours with fresh acidity and well integrated oak. ****
Food match: serve chilled with tuna steak; room temperature - grilled quail.
