COC Fine Wine Auction
Wine lovers will raise their glasses and bidding paddles at the Canadian Opera Company's 7th Annual Fine Wine Auction on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Crush Wine Bar. Auctioneer Stephen Ranger, of Ritchie's Auctioneers and Appraisers, returns to lead the live auction, encouraging wine aficionados and fervent collectors to either add to their cellars or start off their collection with some truly exquisite gems. Guests can also bid quietly in the silent auction that will offer a variety of unique and exciting items for everyone to enjoy. Wine will be served at 6 p.m. with a live auction at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased on-line at www.coc.ca or by calling 416-306-2305.
This year's auction features something for every collector including an Altesino Montosoli Brunello di Montalcino, a number of desirable years of Guigal Cote Rotie La Turque and La Mouline, a vertical of Penfold's Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon and an incredible array of spectacular wines from around the world.
Last year, the Fine Wine Auction raised over $42,000. This year, oenophiles will have their chance to support the COC and raise even more funds than last year. All proceeds raised at the Fine Wine Auction are in support of the COC.
