Importing Wine for Pleasure & Profit

For a decade now, Steven Trenholme has offered a seminar entitled "Importing Wine for Pleasure & Profit." The purpose of this seminar is to provide interested individuals with detailed information about the business of importing wine (beers and spirits are also covered) in Canada. Provincial regulations make it quite simple to become a wine agent, and if Canadian consumers are to have access to more wines there is a requirement for more wine agents. Over 500 persons have taken this seminar to date. Some of the more successful "graduates" are:

  • Alex Patinos – Dionysus Wines & Spirits – agents for Freixenet
  • Robert Klat – RKW Wines – agents for Goats Do Roam
  • Margaret Hobbs – Hobbs & Co. – agents for Hartenburg Estate

The next seminar will be held in Toronto:

Importing Wine for Pleasure & Profit
Saturday 18 November 2006
9:30 am– 4:00 pm

The cost of the seminar is $295.00, which includes GST, the day-long seminar, all written material, lunch, and 30 days of advice following the program.
