Vino dei Poeti Extra Dry Gold Bottle
If you want to dazzle your guests with a sparkling wine, pick up a bottle of Vino dei Poeti Extra Dry. It's a Prosecco from the Veneto region. This bubbly comes in a bottle that looks as if it's been touched by Goldfinger. It's totally bling. The wine is medium straw in colour. It has active bubbles and a minerally, citrus nose; it's medium-bodied, with a dry, apple peel flavour and good length on the palate. It costs $19.95 and it'll make you look as if you've just won the lottery. That's Vino dei Poeti Extra Dry in an all-gold bottle. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler. ($19.95, LCBO #621458)

It costs an affordable $14.95 and is available in Vintages stores or at the winery. You can match it with Caesar salad or grilled scallops. That's Henry of Pelham Sauvignon Blanc 2005 from Ontario. Available at Vintages. For Post City magazines, I'm Tony Aspler. ($14.95, Vintages #430546)
