You won't get a better dry Riesling at this price – from whatever region. Very pale in colour with a lime tint. A minerally nose with lime and grapefruit aromas and a honeyed note. Dry, lime flavour; well made good length. Great value. ****

Cave Spring Riesling 2005 Dry (Beamsville Bench, Ontario)
$13.95 (LCBO #233635)
Another terrific Riesling from Ontario's 2005 vintage. Pale straw colour with a forward spicy nose of petrol, minerals and citrus. Dry, light-bodied with a crisp, clean and elegant, lime and grapefruit zest taste; good length. Good value. ****

Henry of Pelham Chardonnay Reserve 2005 (Short Hills Bench, Ontario)
$13.95 (LCBO #252833)
A lovely Chardonnay at a bargain price. Medium straw colour with a nose of minerals, apple and a spicy oak note. Medium-bodied, dry, apple flavour, Chablis style; crisp and clean; well made. Good value. ****
