Deeply coloured tawny ruby; dried fig and toffee on the nose; lean, wonderfully
balanced walnut flavour with a great spine of acidity that propels the
taste and maintains it long after you’ve swallowed. Fresh for its
age and elegant to boot. Food match: Aperitif wine.
Hernder Cabernet Franc 1999
Purple-ruby colour; plummy nose with an attractive floral and slightly
medicinal note; medium-bodied with a plum and blackberry flavour, firmly
structured with a tannic bite on the finish. Well made and sell priced.
