Medium straw colour with a nose of fresh apples. Chablis style, medium-bodied, crisp apple flavour with lemony acidity, well balanced, good length. Well made. Great value. ****

Peninsula Ridge Reserve Viognier 2006

Golden straw colour with an intense, spicy peach nose. A full-bodied taste of ripe peach with spicy oak, full on the palate; clovey oak finish. Great value. ****
Food match: Thai dishes; curried chicken

Peninsula Ridge Merlot 2006

Deep ruby colour; lovely blueberry bouquet with a floral grace note. Elegant, beautifully balanced, firm structure; dry, medium-bodied, savoury red berry flavour with well integrated oak. Well made. Great value. ****
