Merry Go Round Children's Foundation (MGR), a Toronto-based charity that helps to "level the playing field" for at-risk children across the GTA, is hosting its first annual Steak and Wine Tasting Fundraiser hosted by Tony Aspler. This event is raising funds for, and awareness of, at-risk students from our communities who are part of the Kids, Cops and Computers Program.
Additionally, this provides a night of enjoyment and entertainment for our guests and an opportunity to thank our generous sponsors and donors, without whose support we would not be able to make the incredible impact we have for the past 10 years in high priority neighborhoods. Witness first-hand how we can change the world... one student at a time!
The event will host some of Toronto's most exceptional corporate and community leaders, including Tony Aspler, Joel Rose (wine enthusiast, Executive Director of Raptors Foundation), Josh Josephson (chef), Farley Flex (Canadian Idol judge), Chief William Blair and Deputy Chief Jane Dick of Toronto Police Service, Foundation Chairman and Founder of Merry Go Round Children's Foundation G. Scott Paterson, special musical guests and many more of Toronto's philanthropists!
With many thanks to our gracious sponsors; Halpern Wines, Leavoy Rowe, National Post, Toronto Community News, Jacobs & Co. Steak House and King Street Food Company without your support we would not be able to make these children's dream a reality.
