Fourth Annual Toronto Chilean Wine Festival

Get ready to fall in love as you wine and unwind, serenaded by sultry Chilean culture. At this year's Chilean Wine Festival, Toronto wine fans are invited to indulge in an array of incredible wines from 36 exceptional Chilean wineries. Alongside traditional food samplings and live entertainment, The Distillery's Fermenting Cellar will be transformed into an unforgettable Chilean paradise.

The evening will provide guests with the ultimate experience in fine wines and culture and allow them the opportunity of mingling with representatives from the following Chilean wineries:

A number of tantalizing traditional appetizer food stations, catered by L'EAT Catering, will be perfectly paired with a Chilean varietal, set to excite and intrigue any guest's taste buds. Further satisfying traditional Chilean tastes, Irene Morales, "The Empanada Queen" and owner of Jumbo Empanada Restaurant in Kensington Market, will be serving up her famous empanadas with the Chilean flare that has made her a name in Toronto.

As you take a tour through fabulous Chilean wineries and culinary pleasures, let yourself feel the music while Chilean band, "Grupo Encuentro," adds spice to the ambiance. New to this year's festivities, wine fans can continue the love affair with Chilean wines by visiting the exclusive Tasting Gallery, celebrating Chile's signature grape – Carmenère. Experience and compare select Carmenère wines side by side, and learn the history of this intriguing grape while chatting with winery representatives and other wine aficionados in this chic and stylish tasting room.

This year's event serves to benefit Second Harvest, a local charity which picks up donated fresh food that would otherwise have gone to waste and delivers it to social service programs.

Trade & Media Wine Tasting Event: Wednesday, October 1, 2:00–4:30 pm
This "trade and media only" tasting will showcase the wines, vineyards, and characters from the Chilean wine regions. Experience the passion and enthusiasm for the quality wines being produced from 100% Chilean grown grapes.
Cost: Trade/media only. No charge. Business card required for entry.

Consumer Wine Tasting Event, Wednesday, October 1, 7:00–9:30 pm
Hundreds of Toronto wine lovers will experience firsthand some of the finest wines that Chile has to offer. You are invited to indulge in the vibrant atmosphere of fabulous Chilean wine, food, entertainment, and arts.
Ticket Prices: $55.00, $50.00 for wine club members.

Complimentary shuttle between The Distillery and Union Station available from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm for the trade and from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm for the consumer. Pick-up location will be in front of Union Station by the clock tower. Sponsored by Niagara Airbus,
