Wolf Blass Yellow Label Pinot Noir 2007
You're probably familiar with Wolf Blass Yellow Label Cabernet Sauvignon – once the best-selling red at the LCBO. Well, I'm here to tell you that the Wolf Blass Yellow Label Pinot Noir 2007 is a delicious wine. I had it on Christmas Day with the turkey. It has a bouquet of cherries, wet earth and mint. It's medium-bodied with a cherry and sweet rhubarb flavour. It costs $17.95 at the LCBO. You probably don't have any turkey left – if you do, throw it out. Have the wine with a salmon steak. That's Wolf Blass Yellow Label Pinot Noir 2007 from Australia. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler. ($17.95, LCBO #611509)

Barefoot Cellars Chardonnay
Barefoot Cellars, a label owned by Gallo in California, produces non-vintage wines of great value. Currently at the Board is Barefoot Cellars Chardonnay, selling for $9.95 a bottle. Pale straw in colour, it has an oaky nose and a flavour of buttered popcorn with a sweet note. An uncomplicated, easy-drinking wine in the style of Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay. That's Barefoot Cellars Chardonnay from California. If you miss any of my reviews you can read them on the net by going to 680 News.com and clicking on my link. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler. ($9.95, LCBO #97121)
