LAN Airlines will not only be flying a guest chef in from Chile for the Festival, but will also be offering the chance for Festival goers to purchase tickets to win a trip for two to Chile, sponsored by LAN Airlines and Metropolitan Touring. All contest proceeds will go to Second Harvest.
This year, interactive culinary demonstrations, Irene Morales' famous Jumbo Empanadas, Chilean appetizers by L'EAT Catering, and the live music of Grupo Encuentro ultimately create a unique experience in fine Chilean wine, food and culture.
Following the Festival, an intimate Winemaker's Dinner will be held on October 8th at Crush Wine Bar & Restaurant. Winemakers from seven Chilean wineries will be sharing their distinctive winemaking techniques and stories as Executive Chef Michael Wilson, and Chilean guest Chef Christopher Carpentier, expertly pair each wine with one of the five-courses being served throughout the evening.
