Gemtree Vineyards Tadpole Shiraz
The name of the wine I'm recommending now might not sound that appetizing but it tastes just great. Gemtree Vineyards Tadpole Shiraz 2008 from Australia's McLaren Vale is dense purple in colour with that characteristic blackberry, medicinal nose. The fruit is sweet and succulent with fine balancing acidity and a clean clovey finish. You'll find it at vintages outlets for $16.95 a bottle. Match it with hearty meat dishes. That's Gemtree Vineyards Tadpole Shiraz 2008 from Australia at Vintages outlets. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler. ($16.95, Vintages #142034)

Nasiakos Mantinia 2008
One of my favourite Greek white wines is made from the Moschofilero grape. If you like Gewurztraminer or dry Muscat then you'll go for this one too. Nasiakos Mantinia 2008 is one hundred per cent Moschofilero grown in the Peloponnese region of Mantinia. It has an aromatic floral nose and crisply dry flavours of pear and lemons. It costs $15.95 at Vintages outlets and it makes a lovely aperitif wine. That's Nasiakos Mantinia 2008 from Greece at Vintages outlets. If you didn't have a chance to write down the name you can read this review by going to 680News.com and clicking on my link. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler. ($15.95, Vintages #143032)
