Château Beaumont 2006
If you want to experience what a great red Bordeaux tastes like at a really reasonable price, don't miss out on Château Beaumont 2006. It's just been released at Vintages. Dense ruby in colour, it has a bouquet of blackcurrants, cedar and violets. It's very elegant, well structured and beautifully balanced. It costs $21 and is worth every penny for lovers of claret (that's what the British call red Bordeaux). It's a perfect wine for lamb chops. That's Château Beaumont 2006 from France at Vintages outlets. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680News and 680News.com. ($21, Vintages #562975)

Morgado De Gueiros Vinho Tinto 2005
The Dão region of Portugal is producing wines more in line with the North American palate these days. And at prices that make a lot of sense in these tough economic times. Morgado De Gueiros Vinho Tinto 2005 is a perfect example. Dense purple in colour, it has a spicy, cherry bouquet. It's juicy and fruity with a black cherry flavour that finishes dry. It's just been released at Vintages and costs $11.95 a bottle. Try it with grilled pork loin or hard cheeses. That's Morgado De Gueiros Vinho Tinto 2005 from Portugal at Vintages. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680 News and 680 News.com. ($11.95, Vintages #166439)
