Lifford's Ladies' Night
On Thursday, September 30th, Lifford Wine Agency is hosting their annual Ladies' Night event at the Audi Downtown Showroom in Toronto. Proceeds from this year's elegant event will benefit the Girls and Womens program at The Belinda Stronach Foundation.
This popular event celebrates women, wine and the special bond between female friends. Guests will taste a stellar line-up of wines from Lifford Wine, savour gourmet foods, mingle with high profile female food and wine personalities, and enjoy lively entertainment. A raffle and silent auction will round out the evening's activities.
Taking centre stage this year, Mark McEwan, acclaimed chef and owner of restaurants North 44, Bymark, One and Fabbrica, host of the hit Food Network show The Heat, mastermind of the fine food emporium mcewan and author of Great Food at Home. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Mark! Ticket price includes a copy of Mark's new cookbook, Great Food at Home, published by Penguin Books, valued at $40. The official book launch takes place on September 26th.
The Belinda Stronach Foundation (TBSF) has begun to work with the private sector and a number of national and global organizations to encourage G8 and G20 leaders to elevate the importance of political empowerment and economic freedom for girls and women in developed and developing nations.
