Château des Charmes Gewurztraminer 2000 (Ontario)
($14.95, Vintages stores, January release)
This is the best Gewurz I have tried from Ontario. Medium straw colour
with a true varietal nose of lychee and rose petal. Round on the palate
with a lychee and grapefruit flavour, richly extracted and full-bodied.
Food match: lightly curried dishes, Münster cheese
