Niepoort Vintage Port 2000 (Douro)

An unusual oak-aged Soave. Medium straw colour with evident oak on then ose along with kiwi and citrus peel aromas; elegant, dry apricot and citrus flavours; well balanced, clean with good length. (****½)

Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs 1998 (California)
$32.85
A full-bodied, full-flavoured Chardonnay sparkler. Straw colour, active mousse; buttery, apple, leesy nose; full in the mouth with apple and lemon flavours. Good length. (****½)
