Emeri Pink Moscato
If you're looking for the perfect party wine, here's a thought. An 8% alcohol wine from Australia. Who'd have thought it! De Bortoli Emeri Pink Moscato is an off-dry sparkler that's as easy on the palate as it is on the pocketbook. It's fragrant and perfumed with an orange and rose petal bouquet and a light fizz on the tongue, offering flavours of raspberries and citrus fruits. It fairly dances on the tongue. A fun wine, not a food wine. It costs $14.95 at the LCBO. That's De Bortoli Emeri Pink Moscato from Australia. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680News and 680News.com ($14.95 – $13.45 until November 27, LCBO #222190)

Wolf Blass Red Label Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2010
White Bordeaux is a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The ever-inventive Wolf Blass has given this blend the full Aussie treatment in Wolf Blass Red Label Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2010. Pale straw in colour with a nose of pear, cut grass and lemon zest, it's light on the palate, dry and minerally with pear and peach flavours. It costs $13 a bottle. Serve it with smoked salmon or Caesar salad. That's Wolf Blass Red Label Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2010 from Australia. For Post City Magazines I'm Tony Aspler, 680News and 680News.com. ($13.00, LCBO #323063)
