Megalomaniac Pink Slip Pinot Noir Rosé 2011
Ontario makes some tasty rosés which are perfect for matching with food on these warm summer days. Megalomaniac Pink Slip Pinot Noir Rosé 2011 is made from Pinot Noir grapes. It's salmon-pink in colour with a minerally, raspberry bouquet enhanced by a floral note. On the palate it's dry with a red berry flavour, medium-bodied, fresh and easy drinking. It costs $19.95 at Vintages outlets. Try it with charcuterie or roast pork. That's Megalomaniac Pink Slip Pinot Noir Rosé 2011 from Ontario. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680News and 680News.com. ($17.95, Vintages #85126)

James Oatley Tic Tok Chardonnay 2009
Here's an Australian Chardonnay with lots of flavour at a very affordable price. James Oatley Tic Tok Chardonnay 2009 is a blend of grapes from the Pudgee and Pemberton regions. It's pale lemon in colour with a nose of apple and tobacco leaf . The sweet, spicy fruit has a whisper of vanilla oak, nicely balanced with lemony acidity. Good value at $14.95. Works well with seafood pasta or roast chicken. That's James Oatley Tic Tok Chardonnay 2009 from Australia on the LCBO's general list. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680News and 680News.com. ($14.95, LCBO #187104)
