Bisol Crede Brut Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore (Veneto)
$19.95 (Vintages #297242)
This is my favourite Prosecco, much drier than the category. Crisp crab apple and pear nose with a nutty, minerally note. Lovely mouth feel with a lemon peel and cardamom finish. ***** (91)
Food match: aperitif wine; seafood cocktail

Goats Do Roam White 2011 (South Africa)
$11.95 (LCBO #237313)
Well priced and very flavourful. Pale straw colour with a minerally, smoky nose of white peach and lanolin. Medium-bodied, full on the palate, peach and apple flavours, good length with a lemony finish. ****(88)
Food match: grilled sardines; chicken pot pie

Volkacher Kirchberg Trocken Silvaner 2011 (Franken)
$14.95 (Vintages #314880)
Comes in a Bocksbeutel, the same shape as a Mateus Rosé bottle. Straw coloured with a minerally apple and citrus nose; light-bodied, elegant and crisply dry with citrus flavours and a floral top note. **** (88)
Food match: grilled lake trout; Munster cheese
