Delas Saint-Esprit Côtes-du-Rhône Rosé 2013
There's nothing quite as refreshing as a chilled glass of dry rosé on a warm summer day. Delas Saint-Esprit Côtes-du-Rhône Rosé 2013, recently arrived at Vintages stores, is pale salmon in colour with a minerally nose of watermelon and wild strawberries. It's medium-bodied with a flavour of grapefruit and well-priced at $14.95 a bottle. Serve it with cold cuts or sip it while the barbecue heats up. That's Delas Saint-Esprit Côtes-du-Rhône Rosé 2013 from France. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680News and 680 News.com ($14.95, Vintages #224964)

Miguel Torres Gran Viña Sol Chardonnay 2012
Miguel Torres is Spain's most reliable producer across its wide portfolio. Currently at Vintages is Miguel Torres Gran Viña Sol Chardonnay 2012 at a very affordable $15.95 a bottle. The wine is pale straw in colour with a lime tint; the nose is redolent with apples and a kiss of oak; full-bodied and full on the palate, it's dry with butterscotch and apple puree flavours and nicely integrated oak. Serve it with grilled salmon or roast chicken. That's Miguel Torres Gran Viña Sol Chardonnay 2012 from Spain. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680News and 680News.com ($15.95, Vintages #171660)
