All three wines are to be released on Saturday, August 30th in Vintages outlets:

Blue Mountain Chardonnay 2012 (BC)
$23.95 (Vintages #350108)
A delicious Okanagan Chardonnay. Light straw in colour with a Burgundian-style nose of spicy oak with barnyard notes; medium-bodied, dry, peach and orange flavours; well balanced with a lovely mouth-feel. ***** (90)
Food match: grilled salmon; roast chicken

Simonsig Chenin Blanc 2013 (Stellenbosch, South Africa)
$13.95 (Vintages #981167)
Great value here. Deep straw colour with a nose of peaches and lanolin; medium-bodied, richly extracted sweet peach flavour backed by fresh acidity. Soft mouth-feel. Drinking well now but in a year or two could develop more nuances. ****½ (89)
Food match: pork dishes; Oka cheese

Xavier Côtes-du-Rhône 2010 (Rhône)
$16.95 (Vintages #297317)
A blend of 70% Grenache with Mourvèdre and Syrah. Dense ruby colour with a blackberry and herbal nose; full-bodied, dry and savoury black fruit flavours. Good mouth-feel and good value. ****½ (89)
Food match: BBQ steak; spicy ribs
