Canoe Ridge The Expedition Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 (Washington's Horse Heaven Hills)
$24.90 (LCB0 #394726)
A delicious Cab from Washington State. Deep ruby colour; blackcurrant and black cherry nose with a cedary note; full-bodied, with a sweet and savoury flavour given a lift by a floral note; nicely integrated oak and a firm finish. ***** (90)
Food match: rack of lamb; steak tartar

Bodega Volcanes Summit Reserve Rosé 2014 (Chile)
$9.95 (LCBO #406678)
This dry rosé here's a wine punches above its weight in terms of its quality for the price. The wine is flesh pink with a peach and citrus nose tinged with a mineral note. It's fruity and refreshing on the palate. **** (87)
Food match: cold cuts; charcuterie

Errazuriz Aconcagua Alto Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 (Chile)
$19.95 (Vintages #203364 – to be released May 30th)
The 2012 vintage is a real extrovert Chilean red with concentrated blackcurrant and black plum flavours carried on lively acidity and wrapped in spicy, vanilla oak. It comes from the same vineyard that produces the Don Maximiano Cabernet but is a fraction of the price.
Food match: pepper steak; spicy pork ribs
