Château des Charmes Barrel Fermented Chardonnay 2014 (Niagara)

One of the best value Chardonnays from Ontario at the LCBO. It's a very versatile food wine. Straw coloured with a nose of apple butter and tasty oak, it's medium-bodied and dry with a fresh apple flavour and well-integrated oak. Beautifully balanced. **** (88)

Gonzales Byass Cristina Oloroso Abocado Sherry (Jerez)

Amber colour with a honeyed, nutty, camomile nose. Off-dry, elegant with smoky, toffee flavours and great length. ***** (92)
