Azienda Uggiano Prestige Chianti Classico 2015
If you like old-style Chianti then you'll really enjoy Azienda Uggiano Prestige Chianti Classico 2015 currently at Vintages outlets. It sells for a very reasonable $16.95. Deep purple in colour, the wine has a spicy nose of plum, blackcurrant and cherry topped with notes of oak. It's dry, medium-bodied, beautifully balanced with a floral grace note. Serve it with pasta dishes or mushroom risotto. That's Azienda Uggiano Prestige Chianti Classico 2015 from Tuscany. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680 NEWS. ($16.95, Vintages #454553) (90)

Château des Charmes Cuvée Andrée Rosé 2015
There's nothing like a chilled glass of rosé on a hot summer's day. And all the more if you're drinking local. Château des Charmes has a tasty product called Cuvée Andrée Rosé 2015 which is named for the matriarch of the Bosc family. Made from Pinot Noir, it's deep pink in colour with a spicy nose of red plums and strawberries. It's medium-bodied, just off-dry with a ripe red apple flavour. It costs $15.95 at Vintages outlets. That's Château des Charmes Cuvée Andrée Rosé 2015 from Ontario. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680 NEWS. ($15.95, Vintages #333260) (88)
