Lindeman's Bin 50 Shiraz 2015
On my ongoing quest for inexpensive wines to serve with barbecued meats I came across Lindeman's Bin 50 Shiraz 2015 from South Eastern Australia. Currently on LCBO shelves for $12.10, this deeply coloured red has a cedary, blackberry and dark chocolate nose; it's medium to full-bodied, dry, with smoky-savoury flavours of blackberries and blackcurrants with a vanilla oak note. Apart from barbecued fare it works with pepperoni pizza as well. That's Lindeman's Bin 50 Shiraz 2015 from Australia. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680 NEWS. ($12.10, LCBO #145367)

Lindeman's Bin 90 Mouscato 2014
Here's a white wine to quench your thirst on these hot summer days: Lindeman's Bin 90 Moscato 2014 from South Eastern Australia. Almost water white in colour with an aromatic nose of orange blossom and lemon zest, this inexpensive wine is medium-bodied, off-dry with a grapey Muscat flavour and enough acidity to give it balance. It costs $11.00 at the LCBO. Chill it and serve it as an aperitif wine or with fresh berries. That's Lindeman's Bin 90 Moscato 2014 from Australia. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680 NEWS. ($11.00, LCBO #424473)
