Tawse Sketches of Niagara Rosé 2015
Who said you can't drink rosé after Labour Day? Certainly not me. Rosé is a versatile food wine and one of the best from Ontario is Tawse Sketches of Niagara Rosé 2015. You'll find it at some Vintages outlets selling for $17.15 a bottle. The wine is deep pink in colour with a nose of strawberries and red apples. It's medium-bodied, dry and elegant with lively acidity. Try it with charcuterie or chicken salad. That's Tawse Sketches of Niagara Rosé 2015 from Ontario. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680 NEWS. ($17.15, Vintages #172643)

Touris Moscofilero 2015
Moscofilero is an indigenous Greek grape that produces a perfect late summer wine. Currently on Vintages shelves is Touris Moscofilero 2015. Pale straw in colour it has an aromatic spicy, minerally nose of white peaches; it's medium-bodied, dry and elegant, with fresh peach and citrus flavours and a lingering finish. It costs $16.95 and makes a tasty aperitif wine while you're waiting for the BBQ to heat up. Or try it with Thai dishes. That's Touris Moscofilero 2015 from Greece at Vintages. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680 NEWS. ($16.95, Vintages #463422)
