Wine Aid

Gala Events to Salute Ontario's Hospitality Community
CALIFORNIA TOASTS ONTARIO — OCTOBER 28TH, 2003
VQA TOASTS ONTARIO — DECEMBER 3RD, 2003
FRANCE TOASTS ONTARIO — JANUARY 15TH, 2004

VINTAGES, the premium wine and spirits division of the LCBO, the Wine Council of Ontario, the Wine Importers Of Ontario and the Ontario Restaurant Hotel & Motel Association are staging three gala events to aid the hospitality industry in its time of need.

A series of unprecedented calamities, from September 11th to The Blackout and SARS, have severely damaged the hospitality sector. WINE AID is here to remind the world that Ontario's finest hotels and restaurants are open for business.

Proceeds from the events will be donated to charitable organizations assisting hospitality workers in Ontario.

California Toasts Ontario
October 28, 2003
6:30–9:00
Royal Ontario Museum
100 Queens Park
Toronto, Ontario
Tickets: $195 per person.

Tickets are limited in quantity. Order today!

To order tickets: call Vintages Customer Service at 416-365-5767 or toll-free at 1-800-266-4764.

The first event of three events, California Toasts Ontario, features the crème de la crème of Napa Valley wineries such as Diamond Creek, Heitz Cellars, Beringer, Cakebread, Joseph Phelps and Robert Mondavi – to name just a few. Not only are all these wineries donating their top wines for tasting and auction, many are also sending their principals to pour at the events.

Many of Ontario's finest restaurants will be on hand carefully crafting their gastronomic delights to create the perfect match with the superb wines being poured. Hospitality industry suppliers have also come forward to assist.

Enjoy the finest wines and gourmet creations from California's best winemakers and Ontario's most talented chefs, and the musical delights from a group of musicians from the Toronto Symphony Orchestra – while helping the hospitality industry at the same time!
