Swish & Swirl

A tasting of rare vintages
December 1, 2003

Press release from the Canadian Liver Foundation:

They said it would be impossible to get Canada's top wine collectors to open their cellars to us - to combine forces and assemble a collection of wines that no one person in the country could ever have access to.

Impossible? At the Canadian Liver Foundation, we don't use that word.

One wine expert remarked: "If this tasting were held in New York, it would be sold-out in two days with people fighting over tickets at double the price. It boasts the most prestigious thousand dollar bottles and offers some rare, unexpected delights as well. Add to that an international buffet provided by the United Arab Emirates Ambassador to Canada, and you have one of North America's great tastings."

There are only sixty tickets available for Swish & Swirl, so reserve your spot early.

Your tax-deductible donation, included in the ticket price, helps support the fight against Canada's fourth leading cause of death by disease, and it will ensure that you are front and centre at Ottawa's tastiest fundraiser of the year.
