Climate-controlled wine storage available at Toronto's new ultramodern self-storage facility

StorageNOW, Toronto's newest and most sophisticated self-storage facility, ushers in a new era where space meets chic. Located in the convenient Leaside area, StorageNOW's new $12 million, 134,000-square-foot facility will offer 650 units of various sizes. Another 590 units will open within the year.

Appealing to the ever-growing wine enthusiast market, StorageNOW also offers a state-of-the-art climate controlled wine storage facility. Twenty-two units, which can house up to 10 cases of wine each, are available for lease. Both the wine facility and regular storage units are accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, making it ideal for those that love to entertain and/or have a large and valuable collection.

"StorageNOW is the crème de la crème of self storage," says managing director Jonathan Wheler. "Just taking into account Toronto's huge condominium boom alone, we realized this city needs modern and convenient downtown storage."

The facility, located on Wicksteed Avenue, features 24-hour digital video surveillance, stainless steel walls, concrete ceilings, keypad access, individual alarms and magnetic, timer-controlled doors for security and peace of mind. All units are located indoors and are heat/AC and humidity controlled. StorageNOW has also made the moving process that much easier with an on-site moving and packing supplies store. Items such as boxes, bubble wrap, knife kits, poly tape and twine are available for purchase.

Wheler says everyone needs storage of some kind. Students, those between homes or renovating, seniors, apartment dwellers, small business owners and empty nesters are just some of the markets that StorageNOW will appeal to in addition to wine collectors and connoisseurs. And, with prices comparable to other self-storage companies, this new facility will capitalize on its centralized location, 24-hour access, security features and clean, all-steel units to lure Torontonians.
