Wine Council of Ontario Spring Events Calendar 

The Wine Council of Ontario invites you to celebrate spring at one of the many events and experiences offered at Ontario wineries. Whether it's taking in a tour of a vineyard, enjoying a music or food festival, learning more about wine at one of the many seminars, or even just sampling the world class wines Ontario has to offer, the 2004 Spring events calendar offers something for everyone. The wine industry's website,, has been enhanced with a new Calendar of Events page that lists all events categorized into four headings: Tastings, Events, Culinary and Music. These categories, as well as the option to pick specific dates, provide consumers with user-friendly tools where they can browse listings by date, month or category. Santé: The Bloor-Yorkville Wine Festival

This annual wine event is set in Toronto's renowned Bloor-Yorkville district, considered one of the world's top ten retail destinations. Now in its 6th year, Santé is one of the city's most successful events and is a major stop on the world wine circuit. Santé 2004 will introduce consumers to 64 international and Canadian wineries. Popular with both aficionados and enthusiasts, this premier festival attracts over 6,000 people each year for a range of activities including tastings, seminars, gala dinners and shopping events. Santé combines the world's best winemakers with the city's leading chefs and venues. The festival's one ticket price per event format means that attendees pay only for their admission ticket and not for the wine they sample. Santé uses different venue locations including shops and restaurants to promote Toronto as a travel destination and provide a unique wine tasting experience for all attendees and participating wineries.
