Goats Do Roam White 2016
Goats Do Roam is a punning label for Fairview winery in South Africa what uses only Rhone grape varieties. Goats Do Roam White 2016, currently on LCBO shelves, is a blend of Viognier, Roussanne and Grenache Blanc. Light straw in colour, it offers a minerally, peachy nose. It's medium to full-bodied, dry with peach and lemon flavour with a thread of minerality. Really good value for $11.95 on the LCBO's general list. Try it with grilled fish or cold chicken. That's Goats Do Roam White from South Africa. For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680 NEWS. ($11.95, LCBO #237313) (88.5)

Cave Spring Estate Bottled Chardonnay Musqué 2015
Chardonnay Musqué is an aromatic clone of Chardonnay, a grape that Cave Spring Cellars in Niagara has made its own. The 2015 vintage of the Cave Spring Estate Bottled Chardonnay Musqué, currently at Vintages outlets, is bright straw in colour with Muscat-like nose of ripe apples. Medium-bodied in weight, it's dry with apple and green melon flavours that finishes on a lemony note. It costs $16.95 a bottle. Match it with Cesar salad or ripe Camembert. That's Cave Spring Estate Bottled Chardonnay Musqué 2015 from Ontario.  For Post City Magazines, I'm Tony Aspler, 680 NEWS. ($16.95, Vintages #246579) (89)
