Bright straw in colour with a spicy, smoky, graphite nose of apple and an oaky note; medium-bodied, dry, apple and pear flavours; well-balanced, fresh, with good length. (89)
Food match: chicken breast; ripe camembert

Jean-Luc Colombo Les Collines de Laure 2015 (Méditérranée)
$19.95 (Vintages #512533)
A blend of Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc and Rolle (aka Vermentino), it’s bright straw in colour with a nose of peaches and pine needles; medium to full-bodied, its dry and richly extracted with flavours of peach and citrus fruit. (90)

William Fèvre Champs Royaux Chablis 2015 (Burgundy)

My go-to Chablis for price and value vintage after vintage. Pale straw in colour with minerally, apple and peach nose; medium-bodied, crisply dry, beautifully balanced with clean apple and lemon flavours. (89)
