The Canadian Opera Company's Sixth Annual Fine Wine Auction

Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005
Sheraton Centre Toronto
Cocktails: 5 pm; Auction: 6 pm

"To drink good wine is to enjoy the sunshine, warm and tender."
—Falstaff (from the opera Falstaff)

Would you like to spread some sunshine? Do you have vintage wines hiding in your cellar? Would you like to have renowned wine appraiser Ken Lewis of KDL Food and Beverage Consultants Inc. cast his discerning eye over your treasures?

To make a contribution of wine to this annual fundraising event or receive further details, contact Tamara Kolber by phone 416-306-2398, or send her an e-mail at tamarak@coc.ca. Visit www.coc.ca/giving/events.php to download a donation form.

A preliminary catalogue will be available on the website early February. The items on the block will include some amazing wines, ranging from a 1964 Cheval Blanc, a number of desirable years of Chateau Mouton Rothschild and a few other great years of Lafite. There will also be an incredible lot of some spectacular Ontario wines. There's sure to be something for every collector.

The ticket price includes a door prize. There will also be a business card draw, a silent auction of wine-related items (dinners, books, accessories) and a raffle sponsored by Rosehill Wine Cellars for a Vintage Keeper 110.

Tickets are $50 each or five for $200 and can be purchased by contacting Tamara Kolber at 416-306-2398 or tamarak@coc.ca.
